Blending fashion, storytelling, and strategy to shape bold visual identities and cultural impact.

Costume Designer | Visual Identity Strategist | Founder | Speaker

Born and raised in Brooklyn to Ghanaian parents, Ms. Ampadu built her career at the intersection of fashion, culture, and storytelling. What began as a capsule tee-shirt line and an internship at Elektra Records evolved into a dynamic career shaping the visual narratives of some of entertainment’s most recognized platforms.

Rising through the ranks as a top stylist at BET, she contributed to landmark productions including the BET Awards and 106 & Park, before expanding her portfolio across VH1, MTV, and Comedy Central. Her styling and costume work has been featured on major networks including HBO, Showtime, and Disney, as well as branded campaigns and live productions.

With a deep understanding of character development, audience psychology, and brand positioning, Ms. Ampadu approaches wardrobe not as clothing — but as visual strategy. Whether crafting an on-screen presence, designing for scripted productions, or consulting brands on aesthetic direction, her work is rooted in narrative, intention, and impact.

In addition to her creative work, she is an invited speaker on fashion, media, and emerging technology. She has shared insights with students and future creatives at institutions including Parsons School of Design and New York University, discussing the evolution of personal style, costume as storytelling, and the future of fashion in a digital-first world.

She is the founder of The Style Hi Club, a forward-thinking wardrobe concierge and fashion-tech venture reimagining how individuals experience personal style in a tech-enabled era. She is also the visionary behind World of FlyGirls, a lifestyle brand celebrating ambitious women globally, with a commitment to community impact.

Blending creative direction with systems thinking, Ms. Ampadu continues to evolve beyond traditional styling — positioning herself at the forefront of fashion, media, and innovation.
