COSTUME DESIGNER & FOUNDER

Born and raise in  Brooklyn, NY she is the 1st daughter of 2 Ghanaian parents. Influenced by her mothers deep love for fashion and style, she found inspiration in mothers extensive closet of African garments to European pieces of 70's and 80's, she was also heavily influenced by music and film. Her first intersection began with a boutique tee line an internship with Elektra Records. Shortly after she’d be ask to dress Houston recording artist Lil Flip  which lead to the career in fashion styling and brand consulting  

While working with artists she also worked up the ranks to earn the top style position within the BET's wardrobe department as lead stylist to it's iconic shows like the BET Awards, Spring Bling, 106 &Park, and Rap City. Shortly after, she'd be found on the sets of iconic channels such as VH1, Logo, and MTV. Her hit shows include Nick Cannon's Wild N Out, Girl Code, Guy Code , Love & Hip Hop (The Reunion Series) , MTV's SafeWord and the reboot of iconic shows MTV's Beachhouse & TRL, and Comedy Centrals Hell Of A Week featuring Charlamagne The God

Her love for story telling through clothing, Ms. Ampadu naturally transitioned into costume design, from award winning short films to tv series. Her clientele includes HBO, Showtime, MSNBC, The Golf Network and Disney to name a few. As a costume designer and wardrobe stylist, Ms. Ampadu's dedication to providing the perfect look goes beyonds trends , each piece is carefully chosen to help bring character to life.

 She's also the founder TheStyleHiClub,  wardrobe concierge company servicing productions in television, film, e commerce, campaigns and private clients providing all wardrobe needs .

What fills her heart most is her launch of her girls  lifestyle brand WorldofFlyGirls, a global celebration highlighting and inspiring women of the past , present and future. A different country every year, the brand creates a eco system giving back 20 percent of it’s proceeds to the highlight country.   With the growing success of Ms. Ampadu’s ventures there's no telling when she'll stop.
